Semester examinations proposed from third week of December

Bhilai, Oct 12: The first, third and fifth semester theory examinations for colleges under Hemchand Yadav University Durg are being proposed to be started from the third week of December. Giving this information, the Deputy Registrar of Examinations, Dr Rajamani Patel explained that soon the examination department of the university would issue a detailed notification in this regard. According to Dr Patel, in the first week of November, all the students who are appearing in these semester examinations offline will be able to fill the online examination application form. Exact date of the same would be announced separately.

According to Dr Patel, the semester practical examinations will be held in the first week of December before the theory examinations. After this the ATKT examinations of different semester classes will be conducted. After the completion of the ATKT exam, the main theory exam of the semester will be conducted. The Vice Chancellor, Dr Palta held a meeting of the principals of B Ed colleges and discussed the date for the date for the conduct of the B Ed first and third semester examinations.

Dr Patel informed that the university is sending information to all the principals that they should compulsorily complete the practical and theoretical courses of the students by November 25, if needed by taking additional classes for completion of syllabus.

Dr Patel informed that for the newly admitted students of all undergraduate/postgraduate first year/semester of the academic session 2022-23 of the university, the enrollment application form will be available online on the prescribed fee of 150/- from 01 October to 15 October 2022. Enrollment fee can be deposited through ATM / Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / UPI. The hard copy of the online enrollment application will be accepted by the student in the respective college till October 17. October 19 has been fixed as the last date by the college for submitting the duly filled in enrollment applications of all the students substantiated by the necessary documents. It is mandatory for the students who have passed from the board or university outside Chhattisgarh to pay an immigration fee of Rs 300. Those students who have passed CBSE board, who have passed 12th examination from any school in Chhattisgarh, are not required to pay immigration fee. Such students of the second or third year of graduation, who had previously appeared as a non-college student and have taken admission this year as a regular student, will also have to fill the online enrollment application form.
