SDM directs to submit report within 3 days

Many residents of city have lodged complaint with SDM (Revenue) Mainpur that during the lockdown, right from Weekly Market area to many other government places in city few persons have got illegal construction work done. So annoyed over the same, SDM Suraj Kumar Sahu along with Janpad and police administration and Revenue team conducted inspection on foot in city and directed the Tehsildar of city to submit report about all the encroachments on government land and all illegal construction work within 3 days to him.
SDM (Revenue) Suraj Sahu said that the weekly market in city at present is being placed by the road-side near National Highway and this may lead to some major accident some day.
Whereas for the weekly market the local administration has provided large piece of land in city and what is required on part of Gram Panchayat is to provide accommodation to seller and traders coming to weekly market in an organised manner at particular place and then there will be no need to open this market by the main road-side. In addition to this he expressed unhappiness over lot of waste and garbage around the Commercial Complex constructed worth lakhs inside the weekly market area. He gave instructions to CEO Mainpur Narsingh Dhruv to complete allotment of market in commercial complex within 15 days. Apart from this the earthen tiles on top of roof of many government buildings, entry gates and debris and other materials is regularly being stolen and with complaint in this regard to SDM he directed to take firm action against those involved. In addition to this in order to keep all the government land safe from encroachments and others, he directed to form a team of Revenue officers and it should start the survey work from Thursday itself and where ever they found illegal construction or encroachment due action be taken as per the rules.
Gave instructions to removed waste from drainage:
It seems as if the beautification of city is facing an eclipse as during inspection by SDM by the side of National Highway, finding lot of mud and wastes lying out in the open, he immediately contacted RES Deptt SDO and directed him to prepare an estimate for drainage construction soon. He directed Janpad Panchayat to start the work of RCC drainage constructed within a week and also gave instructions to clean-up the waste and garbage spread around all the chowks, triangles and main lanes and by-lanes.
Prepares plan walking four hours with officers:
Mainpur now has become revenue headquarters and in order to develop city as per its requirement, SDM Sahu along with other officers inspected the existing condition in citiy on foot for about four hours.
During this they decided to prepare work plan to streamline roads, drainage, streetlights in the city. Finding the SDM along with other office visiting different areas of city, the denizens of city are enlivened with hope that development will take shape. On this occasion Tehsildar Krishnamurty Diwan, CEO Narsingh Dhruv and other local employees were present.
