SAGES Janjgiri holds workshop for students as well as faculty

Bhilai, Sep 23: Swami Atmanand Government English Medium School, Janjgiri, Durg in collaboration with St Thomas College organised a workshop for students as well as faculty. The topic of the seminar for faculty was “Work Life Balance”. The society has become very globalised and every man is running tirelessly from morning till night.
When the workplace pressure mounts up balancing home and work becomes very harmful for health. The keynote speaker of this workshop Dr Debjani Mukherjee, Counsellor and psychologist said that each one of you, personally balance work and life.
She also gave a simple demonstration by giving various examples from day to day life. This workshop for faculty was organised by Darshana Khonde, lecturer Mathematics and compeered by Tripti Singh, lecturer Biology.
Dr Debjani Mukherjee, also addressed the workshop for students on the topic “Promoting mental health of students”. She said that past two years have been very difficult for all, where not having regular school, not being able to play outside, staying indoor with family members, loss of jobs and economic crisis in family, loss of family members due to Covid has disturbed a lot, leaving to many types of mental problems.
This whole program was compeered by Shobha Rao, Lecturer of English and organised by Darshana Khonde, Lecturer of Mathematics. At the end of the programme, Mini Gopinathan appreciated the effort taken by the School staff and thanked the speaker.
