Rungta College of Dental Sciences observes ‘Communal Harmony Week’

Bhilai, Dec 02: Rungta College of Dental Sciences and Research, a unit of Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions observed “Communal Harmony Week” as part of an initiative by “National Foundation for Communal Harmony(NFCH)”.
The NFCH is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India which provide financial assistance to children rendered orphan or destitute in Communal, Caste. Ethnic or terrorist violence for their education & rehabilitation under project “Assist”. A fund raising campaign was organised during the whole week in which the College Management, Faculties, Students and the patients visiting the institute donated money generously.
The money thus collected is sent to the NFCH for strengthening the cause. Sanjay Rungta, Chairman, Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions inaugurated the event and himself donated for the charity.
He observed that we Indians have the collective responsibility to uphold the motive of sustainable development and this efforts sends a significant message to the society.
Dr Karthik Krishna M, Dean, RCDSR motivated all stakeholders to donate voluntarily and also asked “Each One to Teach One” as part of the cause.
