‘RS members brought same to Ch’garh with their violent behaviour’

Raipur, Aug 14: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentarian Sunil Soni on Saturday claimed that the Congress members Chhaya Verma and Phuloodevi Netam from Chhattisgarh behaved in Rajya Sabha as anti-social elements during the proceedings in Upper House of Parliament.
Talking to media persons at party office situated at Ekatma Parishar, the Raipur Lok Sabha member Soni said that both the Rajya Sabha members of Congress physically assaulted the Woman Marshal who tried to stop them.
He said that behaviour of both the Congress members have defamed Chhattisgarh with their behaviour and added that the violence of the opposition MPs in Parliament is an insult to the democracy which could not to tolerated.
He however, stated that he does not expect any apology from the Congress nor they would be ashamed of their behaviour but people of Chhattisgarh are hurt with their approach in Parliament during the proceedings of Rajya Sabha.
He said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should take cognigence to the incident. He claimed that the Congress has established new heights of downfall in politics with their behaviour. Chhattisgarh BJP President Vishnu Deo Sai was also present at the press conference here.
