Rly Minister approves resumption of stoppage for 3 Trains in Bilaspur Zone

Thousands of passengers, including citizens, students, employees and traders, faced challenges due to the suspension.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has approved the resumption of train stoppages at Kargi Road, Belghana and Tenganmada stations for the three trains from the Bilaspur Zone.

According to the information received, the Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu’s had requested the Railway Minister for the resumption of train stoppages at railway stations in the Bilaspur parliamentary constituency, which were suspended since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, the Railway Minister through a letter to Sahu, has informed that three trains stoppage has been approved trains and numbers  include 18477/18478 Puri-Yog Nagari Rishikesh Express at Kargi Road,  18241/18242 Durg-Ambikapur Express at Belghana and 18257/18258 Bilaspur-Chirmiri Express at Tenganmada.

Sahu thanked Vaishnaw and credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for the development. He also mentioned that Chhattisgarh will receive Rs 20,000 crore for new rail projects in the next 18 months.
