RKC shooters win 1 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals

Raipur, Mar 16: The 5th East Zone Shooting Championship was held in Asansol, West Bengal from March 11-14. After qualifying from the Chhattisgarh State Shooting Championship, the following shooters of our school Rajkumar College (RKC), Raipur, moved one step ahead for the East Zone Shooting Championship, as they brought laurels to our School and the flag of our college was once again shown high in the sport arena. Our ace shooters have won 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals in the above-mentioned Shooting Championship.
The detailed information about the East Zone Shooting Championship is as follows: – Priya Raje Singh has won 1 Gold and 1 Silver Medal in Air Pistol category to top the winners of our school. Harman Singh Sando has won 2 Silver Medals, which includes 25 metre Sports Pistol and Centre-fire Pistol category, to get the 2nd slot. Shivam Choudhary has won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal in Air Rifle category to secure the 3rd position. Sunishka Kumar has won 1 Bronze Medal in Air Rifle category to secure the 4th position. Kushagra Dev Singh Parihar has secured the 9th position in Air Rifle Shooting and has qualified with the other four shooters of our school for the National Shooting Championship.
The detailed report of earlier achievements of the shooters is as follows: Priya Raje Singh had won one gold medal in 10m Air Pistol Youth Women category and one silver medal in 10m Air Pistol Junior Women category. Harman Singh Sando had won one gold medal in 25m Standard Pistol Junior Men category and two silver medals in 25m Centre-Fire Pistol Junior Men category. Shivam Choudhary had won one silver medal in 10m Air Rifle Sun Youth Men category and one bronze medal in 10m Air Rifle Youth Men category. Sunishka Kumar had won one bronze medal in 10m Air Rifle Sub Youth Women. Kushagra Dev Singh Parihar had secured 9th position in 10m Air Rifle Sub Youth Men category to qualify.
They have been trained by Mr Hari Om Singh, our Rifle Shooting Coach and Ms. Sneha, our Pistol Shooting Coach.
