Rishabh scores century in CSCS Sr Selection match

Star batsman Rishabh Tiwari scored 138 runs to help his team Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh (CSCS) Red Team score 307 for 4 in first innings against CSCS Yellow under the Senior Selection match being organized at Raipur Stadium here on Tuesday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, the Red team scored 307 for 4 at close of play on day one. While Rishabh Tiwari scored 138 runs with the help of 18 fours and 1 six, Shashank Chandrakar also scored 75 runs for his team. Similarly Anupam Toppo scored 45 runs.
Snehil Chadda claimed maximum 2 wickets for Yellow whereas Ashish Pandey and M Binny Samuel also claimed one wicket each for the team.
In the second match being played at Raipur District Association (RDCA) Ground, the impressive bowling performances from CSCS Blue team restricted the CSCS Green to just 216 runs in first innings. Sourabh Majumdar was most successful bowler with 4 wickets for the team whereas Shahnawaj Hussain also claimed two wickets for the team.
Ajay Mandal scored maximum 79 runs for the Green Team whereas Pawandeep Singh (38) and Abhishek Khare (29) also made valuable contributions for the team.
At close of play, Blue team had scored 71 runs for 3 wickets. Amit Yadav scored 39 runs with the help of 7 fours for the team. Pawandeep Sigh was most successful bowler as he claimed 2 wickets for just 17 runs for Green team.
