Raipur, Jun 16: JEE Advance results was announced on June 10 and 9 students of Resonance Raipur have qualified for Jee Advance 2018 this year. Raipur Resonance Centre started in the year 2013 has shown astounding performance in JEE Advance 2018 and NEET, said Yogesh Gupta Center Head, Raipur Study Center and Associate Lecturer, Department of Mathematics while speaking to this newspaper. Resonance is offering classroom courses for JEE Main, JEE Advance, NEET, AIIMS, class 11th, 12th and for dropper students. In addition to this it is also offering coaching to students of class 8th to 10th and preparing students for competitive exams like NTSE, Olympiads etc, he added. In four years of its inception, the institute has risen beyond all the expectations in terms of volume and quality of results, said Yogesh.
The top AIR (Rank 2045) in JEE Advance was secured by our student Anagh Sharma. He achieved 1st rank in Raipur city in JEE Mains. He joined Raipur Resonance center from class 10th. Prior to admissions at Resonance the students have to appear in entrance exam and based on performance in the entrance exam we give admissions to the students. We explore the student’s level through entrance exam and if the student fails to qualify for JEE Advance, we tell them to join JEE Main. He said that JEE Advance is the 2nd toughest exam in India and all over the World it is fifth toughest examination. Students who score good mark in entrance exam get scholarships from Resonance. In addition to this weaker section student with good academic background and talent are also gets scholarships.
Adding another feather to its cap, about 35 students of Resonance Raipur have qualified for NEET 2018 which is a brilliant performance, 60 students got selection in JEE Mains and 29 students got selected in JEE Advance. This selection is the result of hard work and honest efforts of students and expert faculty of Resonance, said Yogesh.
IN CGPMT 2016 out of top 100 our 5 students got qualified Nihal Parkhedar (Rank 3), Pooja Jain (Rank 31), Rishi (Rank 82), Diksha (Rank 83) and Aishwarya (Rank 93). In small classes – Class 8th 9th and 10th also we have achieved outstanding results. He said that in National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage – 1 this year about 6 students got selection and in 2017 NTSE Stage I examination about 7 students got selection out of which 2 students have been selected the NTSE Stage – II examination. After clearing the NTSE examination the students are entitled for Government Scholarship. In Olympiad 2018 – IESO (International Earth Science Olympiad), 4 students from all over India were selected for last stage out of which two students were from Resonance – one from Resonance Raipur and one from Udaipur Resonance. The selected four students will fight for the final stage at Thailand. The morning batches for dropper, engineering and medical start from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm. The classes are of one and half hours for Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The timing for class 11th and 12th batch is 3 pm to 8 pm. The classes are held 3-4 days in a week and for droppers the classes are held six days a week. Resonance Raipur Study Center has full-fledged library facility and weekly test and monthly test are held.
Yogesh said that JEE Advance from this year has gone online as a result we also organise computer based test (online). We provide ID password to every students and after login, the students receives the test paper. Resonance Raipur is the company owned study centre and everything is controlled by Resonance Kota. More than 40 centers’ are there throughout the country. We also provide hostel facility.
The centre has team of experienced faculties – 1 for Mathematics, 2 for Physics, 2 for Chemistry and 1 for Biology for medical and engineering. We have separate team of experience faculties for class 8th, 9th and 10th for teaching Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and SST.
