Raman’s govt has looted state’s treasury: Baghel

Raipur, May 24: CM Bhupesh Baghel left for Delhi to take part in the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Delhi. In-between talking to media persons before leaving, CM Baghel said that Congress National President Rahul Gandhi in a press conference in Delhi has said that he would put forth his words in the CWC meeting and therefore CWC meeting has been called and in this all the CWC Presidents have been invited and since I am also the member, I would put forth my version on behalf of the party in this meeting, he added.
Commenting upon the state’s financial reserves, Baghel accepted that it is true that the state’s treasury is empty and charged that the BJP and former CM Raman Singh have looted the coffer of state’s treasury in the name of commission and for this the new government will find out ways. The way Congress has waived off farmers loan and reduced the electricity bill to half and purchasing tendupatta and minor forest produce at higher rates, further arrangements will be made and there will not be any hindrance in carrying out development works in the state. Commenting upon Raman Singh’s statement on politics of ‘Badalapur’, CM Baghel said that Raman Singh is concerned about his son-in-law and he is having lots of woes. He is also the National Vice president of BJP and he was not even taken out of the state and therefore he is having all sorts of problems and it is very much visible. Further if at all his son would have been the candidate, he would have won and this is another set-back for Raman and he is left with no option but to curse his stars, he added.
