Raipur, Jun 24:

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Vice President and former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on Wednesday raised demand from the Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress government to provide benefits of One Country One Market to the farmers in Chhattisgarh.
Dr Singh has written a letter to the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in support to his demand. In his letter, Dr Singh has made the reference of memorandum from Chhattisgarh State Poha Murmura Producer Federation in which it has been stated that the Ordinance published recently in Gazette of India for the welfare of farmers is not been implemented in Chhattisgarh.
Dr Singh said that appropriate orders in accordance to the Ordinance of Government of India should be issued in Chhattisgarh to ensure that the farmers here can also avail the benefits being provided through the Government of India under One Nation One Market scheme wherein the farmers are allowed to sell their produce across the country without any restrictions.
