Raipur Sector wins Boys’ title, Durg clinches Girls’ title

The Chhattisgarh Mahavidyalaya, under the Higher Education Department, organized the state-level inter-sector table tennis tournament at the Sapre School Table Tennis Hall here. The event saw participation from 90 players across 10 sectors.
In the Boys’ final match, the Raipur Sector defeated Durg Sector 3-1, winning their third consecutive state title.
In the Girls’ final, Durg Sector defeated Raipur 3-0 securing their third consecutive state title.
The selected team for the East Zone Table Tennis Tournament in Guwahati, Assam, includes:
Boys’ Team: Ramji Kumar, Lokesh Jangde (Palloti College), Aayush Sharma, Gajendra Chauhan (Chhattisgarh College) and Mushtaba Raza (Pragati College).
Girls’ Team: Jahnvi Mahawar (Govt Mahavidyalaya Dhamtari), Jaya Sahu, Sahina and Shreya Verma (Govt Mahavidyalaya Tilda).
Organising Secretary Rupendra Singh Chouhan said that the Winners were felicitated by Vinay Baiswade (former state table tennis winner), Dr. Vipin Chandra Sharma (former director), Dr. Ritu Dubey (observer), Vikas Saha (sports officer) and Anil Mahobia (retired sports officer).
