Days after Chhattisgarh Congress had intensified its preparations to host party Chief Rahul Gandhi in Chhattisgarh, it is now known that the visit has been postponed.
The reason for postponement is being given as poll in Karnataka state where Congress has good chance of return and prove that Congress is in a position to make a comeback.
Party sources have revealed that Rahul Gandhi visit to Chhattisgarh is now likely in May second week.
It need be mentioned that earlier Rahul Gandhi had consented to travel to Sitapur to address public meeting there.
Congress is looking forward to the visit of Congress chief in view of the fact that the Chhattisgarh state is headed for poll by the end of this year.
