Utterakhand defeated Kerala by 8 wickets in the Senior Women’ T-20 tournament being organised under the aegis of BCCI at Naya Raipur-based Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium here on Tuesday to enter into the final of the tournament.
Put into bat first, the Kerala team could manage to score just 84 runs with just Arundhati Reddy (22 runs) and Drishya (17 runs) being only major contributors. Amisha B, Raghvi and Prema claimed 2 wickets each for Utterkhand to restrict the opposition.
In reply, the Utterakhand team scored the required runs in just 14.2 overs to win the match by 8 wickets. Poonam Raut scored maximum 43 runs for the team whereas Raghvi excelled with the bat also scoring 28 runs. Raghvi was adjudged Player of the Match.
