Public support is necessary to control the spread of corona infection: Jaisingh Agrawal

Raipur, Apr 11: To prevent infection and spread of corona, every citizen should apply mask, follow social distancing and all people above 45 years of age must get corona vaccine. Social organizations can play an important role in carrying out public awareness campaigns to curb the spread of corona infection.
The contribution of social organizations in controlling the global epidemic corona last year cannot be forgotten. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister and Minister in charge of Dantewada, Sukma, Bijapur and Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi districts, Jaisingh Agrawal appealed to various social heads through a virtual meeting.
A virtual meeting was organized through the District Collectors of the above four incharge Districts, in which the Revenue Minister appealed to the social heads of various areas and said that as the head of the society, it is their important responsibility that they should prevent corona infection in all the people of the society and also take steps to prevent its spread, promote social awareness so that everyone is safe and strictly follow the guidelines of the government for this.
The minister, in his appeal, emphasized that, following the government’s guidelines, people above 45 years of age must get vaccinated for protection from corona and all the heads of various societies who attended the meeting were motivated for vaccination. Appealing to the community heads involved in the virtual meeting, Revenue Minister Jaisingh Agrawal said that the instructions of the district administration are required to be strictly followed in the pre-determined programs and only a limited number of people should be involved in it, special attention should be kept to this. Do not place masks in public places and social distancing must be followed compulsorily. Minister Agarwal further appealed, saying that unless necessary do not move out of the houses nor allow outsiders to enter their homes.
The Revenue Minister took detailed information from the concerned District Collectors about the facilities available in the hospitals of their district such as the facility of currently recruiting patients, availability of oxygen cylinders, ventilators and access to life saving medicines etc.
In the meeting, the concerned district collectors informed the minister in-charge that more vaccinations are being done in their districts daily than the target set and if the supply of vaccine is not interrupted then within the month of April, more than 45 years years people vaccination will be completed. While in the meeting, NMDC officials assured to provide full support to the administration, Dantewada in-charge secretary Champawat, Sukma in-charge secretary Neeraj Bansod, GPM district in-charge secretary Mohammad Kaiser Abdul Haq said to extend all possible cooperation at the administrative level. In the virtual meeting, Dantewada regional MLA Mrs. Devati Karma and Bijapur MLA Mr. Vikram Mandavi, Head of Aggarwal Samaj, Kanwar Samaj, Alva Samaj, Muslim Samaj, Sahu Samaj, Rathore Samaj, Maheshwari Samaj, Brahmin Samaj, Satnami Samaj, Jain Samaj, Rajasthani Samaj and Christian community and various organizations participated.
