Programme on Steel Plant Technology & Process automation inaugurated

Bhilai, Sep 02: A programme on Steel Plant Technology & Process Automation in SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant was inaugurated by SK Dubey, ED (P& A) on August 30, 2021 at BMDC.
This programme is meant for Management Trainees (Technical) of 2021 batch and will conclude on September 04, 2021. Saurabh Sinha, GM (HRD) and Sanjeev Shrivastava, DGM (HRD) were present on the occasion.
Chief Guest SK Dubey, ED (P & A) in his address said that the programme focuses on giving technical inputs from experts on latest technology used in the Plant. This will help the MTT’s participating in the programme to get acquainted with the new technology in Modex units before their journey inside the Plant. He urged the participants to be inquisitive and satisfy their queries during the ongoing sessions. You have a key role to play in the expansion of the Plant, he added.
The programme will cover latest topics like Rolling technology for Rails, process automation, Iron and Steel making, Coke oven technology, Sintering technology, Quality control tools and Instrumentation and automation.
The programme will enable the participants to understand the environmental impact of steel making, sustainable energy management measures taken by BSP and maintenance of systems through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Sanjeev Shrivastava, DGM (HRD) conducted the proceedings of the programme.
