Preparations for recruitment on 2492 posts commences

Raipur, Sep 07: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has today directed the concerned departmental officers to issue permission for recruitment to various posts of Home (Police), Revenue and Food Department. As per the instruction, the process of recruitment on total 2492 posts has been commenced. Mr. Baghel has also given instructions to prepare an action plan for recruitment on the vacant posts of all other departments.
In accordance with the decision taken by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today, formation of ‘Bastar Fighters’ force under Home (Police Department) was approved and permission to recruit on 2100 posts was given. Similarly, permission for new recruitment on 301 posts of patwaris at field level under Revenue Department was also issued. Under Food Department, appointment on 84 posts of Food Inspector and 91 other posts will be done.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has called upon the youth of the state to work with perseverance and dedication to make the most of these opportunities. He said that Chhattisgarh Government is committed to provide employment opportunities to the youth. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel further said that despite the financial crisis due to COVID-19, State Government has been taking decisions in the interest of every section of society, especially youth. On one hand, formation of Bastar Fighters force will provide employment to the local youth of Bastar, on the other hand, Police force will get the benefit from the experiences of local youth. He added that recruitment of patwaris will help in quick resolution of revenue-related grievances and demands of the farmers and the citizens at local level. The Departments concerned have been directed to release advertisements and organize exams for recruitment. Chief Minister has directed the departments to complete the entire process of recruitment soon with complete transparency.
