Power sector employees may have to face compulsory retirement

Akin to all other Departments State Government had constituted, eight scrutiny committees in Power Companies where on the basis of 50 years of age or 20 years of service of an employee, such committee would make scrutiny of the records and on the recommendations of these committees, compulsory retirement would be given.
On the recommendation of scrutiny of the service records, valuation, confidential reports of employee state government has given compulsory retirement to employees in various departments. This arrangement of the state government would be reiterated in Power Company also.
Power Company’s management had accepted the State Government crucial pertaining to the Compulsory Retirement. Following this circular, Power Company has constituted 8 committees to get the records of officials and Employees scrutinized, so as to recommend for compulsory
retirement.
Valuation of efficiency of the officials and personnel would be made on the basis of complete records during the service of particular employee. During this period it will also be observed that whether level of efficiency is getting low. In complete records of an employee, AD-11 and Confidential Report would be incorporated.
At the time of scrutiny Medical leave, CR, administrative actions, Suspension, Departmental inquiries, official punishments, show cause notices will be comprehensively evaluated. Following which action would be taken for giving Compulsory Retirement.
