Bhilai, Sep 25: District Police has made elaborate arrangements for ensuring total lockdown across the district during September 24 to 30. The results of the Police attentiveness are visible across the district. All the commercial establishments, petrol pumps, etc remained closed. Right from the wee hours, Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendents, City Superintendents, Sub Divisional Officers, DSPs and Traffic Police Officer are conducting patrol across their respective jurisdiction areas. SHOs are also conducting patrol in their respective areas.
All the entry-exit points of the district have been sealed. Cops have been deployed at the significant Fixed Points. Action was taken against several people on charges of moving without mask. Several motorbikes were also seized from violators. Durg Police has appealed from the citizens to cooperate in lockdown and control the global pandemic.
