Police nabs four, seize 61 kg ‘Ganja’

Gariyaband, Sep 08: Deobhog Police nabbed four from an inter-state ‘ganja’ smuggler with 61 kg ‘Ganja’. Out of these four accused, three are from UP and one from Odisha. Among the four accused arrested, one is female accused. The Police based upon tip from an informer took this action. When they got information about the ‘Ganaj’ smugglers entering Chhattisgarh border, the police took to action and nabbed all four accused with ‘Ganja’ red-handed. ‘Ganja’ was stored in suitcase inside Tata Indigo vehicle and in order to avoid police checking they have mentioned VIP in the front mirror. This was joint action by the Crime Branch team along with Deobhog police. The police informed that the accused wants to smuggle ‘Ganja’ from Odisha to Delhi, via Chhattisgarh border.
