Pledge to make capital city clean and green

Raipur: In a programme organized under Clean India Mission today at Katora Talab, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and veteran leader Mr. Amit Shah administered pledge of protecting environment and maintaining cleanliness. Inaugurating this drive of planting 25 thousand peepal saplings in Raipur city, Dr Singh and Mr. Shah themselves planted saplings and praised the concept of this drive, extending warm wishes for its success. In this programme organized in association with Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board, school children and other people pledged to make their city clean and green. The programme was attended by State Government’s Agriculture and Water Resource Minister Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal, Urban Administration and Development Minister Mr. Amar Agrawal, MP Mr. Ramesh Bais, MP Mr. Ramvichar Netam, MLA Mr. Shrichand Sundrani, other public representatives and senior administrative officials, along with a large number of school children and common people.
