PHE Minister performs bhoomipujan of development works

Bhilai, June 10: PHE Minister Guru Rudra Kumar inaugurated / performed bhoomipujan of development works worth Rs 6.5 crore in Jamul on Thursday. On the occasion, Cabinet Minister said that bhoomipujan of projects worth about Rs 6 crore has been done in Jamul. These works have been approved with a view to improve the civic amenities for the citizens.
Minister said that regular contact and interaction with citizens gives good feedback and paves the way for useful works. He said that the citizens of Jamul have displayed their spirit of service to humanity during the Corona transition period.
The people together conducted an awareness campaign against Covid infection. Frontline workers also made appreciable contribution. “We were able to overcome the second wave with the help of doctors and medical staff. Service-oriented organizations also made significant efforts. We are determined to serve the people and fulfill their aspirations”, he said. Minister also inaugurated the ration shop in Surdung. He said that Chhattisgarh government has made beneficial schemes for every section of the society. The government is concerned for even the last person of the society. The objective of state government schemes is to develop the economic capabilities of the people.
Government is working on priority to promote civic amenities including medical services through mobile medical units; promotion of small businesses through schemes like Pauni Pasari, etc.
The government is accomplishing significant work through Jal Jeevan Mission to provide pure water to the people. Guru Rudra Kumar also handed over the hearse van to the Jamul Civic Body. SDM Vinay Poyam, administrative officers and public representatives were present.
