PHE Minister inaugurates PDS shop and warehouse

Bhilai, Oct 14: Public Health Engineering and Village Industries Minister Guru Rudra Kumar inaugurated the newly constructed government fair price shop and godown at village Bhedsar of Ahiwara Vidhan Sabha area the other day.
On the occasion, Minister Guru Rudra Kumar said that this government fair price shop and godown has been constructed at a cost of Rs 7 lakhs. With the inauguration of a new shop, the people will not have to travel shorter distances for ration and they will get ration easily in their own Gram Panchayat.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the drinking water arrangement is being done in rural and remote areas under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
He informed that by 2023, every house of the Gram Panchayat level in the entire Chhattisgarh state would get clean drinking water through taps. Providing safe drinking water and expediting the basic development works are the top priorities of Congress state government.
Congress government is the government of the poor, laborers and farmers. Every effort is being made to bring people into the mainstream of development. Speaking about the possible third wave of corona epidemic, Cabinet Minister Guru Rudra Kumar said that the fear of the third wave of corona cannot be ignored.
Hence in the present also, we all need to follow the corona guidelines issued by the state government. He appealed to all the residents to get vaccinated. He said that the local public representatives have made him aware of the problems of the common people.
Resolving all those issues is on the top priority. On the demand of Sarpanch and the villagers, he announced construction of drain, CC road for various routes, pavers block in community building, construction of compound for Satnami Samaj, etc in the village.
Durg District Panchayat President Shalini Rivendra Yadav, Durg Janpad President Devendra Deshmukh, Speaker Pushpa Bhuneshwar Yadav, Sarpanch Sagar Deshmukh, Janpad Member Nohar Singh Sahu, Block President Hira Verma, and a large number of villagers were present.
