Over 700 questions submitted by MLAs for Question Hour

Raipur, Jul 13: Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (J) as well as ruling Congress have submitted more than 700 questions for Question Hour session during the forthcoming session of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly scheduled to begin from July 26.
According to the information received, total 717 questions including 375 starred questions have been submitted by MLAs to the Legislative Assembly Secretariat for the Monsoon session of Assembly.
Through these questions, the MLAs would draw the attention of Treasury bench towards the issues related with their respective constituencies and grill them with volley of supplementary questions.
Apart from the questions for the Question Hour session, the MLAs have also submitted Call Attention notices to the Assembly Secretariat for detail discussion on the issues to seek reply from the Ministers during the five-day Monsoon session.
Opposition BJP would also chalk separate strategy for the upcoming session to grill the ruling Congress government on key issues during the upcoming session.
