Oral Hygiene Day celebrated at Rungta College of Dental Sciences & Research

Bhilai, Aug 06: Oral Hygiene Day was celebrated in the Department of Periodontology, Rungta College of Dental Sciences and Research. The event was inaugurated by Sanjay Rungta, Chairman, SRGI and Rajani Rungta, Director, Rungta Group of Institutions by cake cutting ceremony.
On this occasion, the department was decorated and educational posters were displayed. An educational video prepared by Dr Sonika Bodhi, Reader, was displayed for the patients to help them understand better the importance of oral hygiene.
Patients were instructed on proper oral hygiene measures with help of models and pamphlets and free samples of toothbrushes, toothpastes and mouthwash were distributed. A virtual e-poster competition was held in which more than 100 students all over the country participated.
The event was convened by Dr Karthik Krishna M, Dean, Professor and HOD, Dept of Periodontology, RCDSR and organized by Dr Aena Jain Pundir, Professor, Dr Sonika Bodhi, Reader, Dr Shruti Bhatnagar, Senior Lecturer, and Post Graduate students, Dr Sabreena Williamson, Dr Kanchan Agrawal, Dr Lawanya Chandrakar, Dr Abhishek Hirwani, Dr Ashida S Blesson, Dr Saswati Mohanty, Dr Syeda Nazia Hasan, Dr Kritika Kejriwal.
