Operation Muskaan: Durg Police finds 117 missing children

Bhilai, Jun 16: With sustained efforts, Durg Police has successfully recovered 117 missing children and brought happiness among their families. The missing children are being searched in other states as well.
As per the instructions of DM Awasthi, Director General of Police, Chhattisgarh and under the leadership of Prashant Thakur, Superintendent of Police, Durg, and under the supervision of Sanjay Dhruv, Additional Superintendent of Police (City); Anant Sahu, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) in Durg district, the Operation Muskaan is being conducted continuously to trace the missing children. During the campaign, a total of 36 missing children including 05 boys and 31 girls (whose reports were filed in previous years) were recovered by the police so far this year. Further, a total of 81 children (Reported this year) including 18 boys and 63 girls, were recovered safe and handed over to their families this year. Many of these children have been recovered from Maharashtra, Delhi and other states.
Thus, under the Operation Muskaan, the police have succeeded in bringing a smile on the faces of their families by recovering a total of 117 children so far this year. All the City Superintendent of Police, Sub-Divisional Officers and police station teams played a commendable role in searching the missing children.
