One nabbed with stolen bike, sent to jail

Dongargaon, Sep 20: Dongargaon police succeeded in nabbing motorcycle thief on Sunday. The police during regular patrolling was in search of a person looking for customer to sell stolen bikes.
Here Police got information that one Amit Lenjhar R/o Gram Dhangaon works with an auto dealer trader in Kumarda and he was nabbed with stolen Super Splendor of black colour worth Rs 50000. The accused after stealing the vehicle had thrown the number plate of the bike and replaced it with fake number plate.
The police has filed case under section- 379, 41 -1-4 of IPC against the accused and produced him in the court and from where he was sent to jail. The Police informed that it is based upon the chassis and engine number of bike seized that the actual owner of the vehicle is being searched. It is notable here that incidents of bike theft are on the rise in the region over the past few months.
