One accused in murder of student arrested

Raigarh, Aug 24: Aa minor students was reportedly stabbed in the Government School in broad daylight and murdered in Rambhata area of Raigarh. This created tense atmosphere during lunch-time in the School in afternoon today. The Class 9th student was stabbed many times and the accused managed to escape from the place and when the youth stabbed was taken for treatment he sucummbed to injuries.
The Kotwali Police has arrested an accused in the murder of this minor from Kailashnath Katju Govt School in Rambhat and the other main acccused has also being identified and would be arrested soon.
SP Abhishek Meena is personally looking after the incident and so far the reasons for stabbing have not come forward and soon the same will be disclosed by the police.
As per information in this regard from the police, Sagar Tandon R/o Rambhata (14) was a student of Class 9th in Kailash Nath Katju Government School. During interval time all the students were playing inside the school campus and in-between two students entered the school and this led to controversy between the two and Sagar and they started quarelling. It was during this, one of the youth from outside stabbed Sagar and on seeing this Sagar ran towards the Class to Staff Room and this led to blood spreading all the way.
In the staff room the teachers were having lunch and before Sagar could speak anything he fell down. The other students also gathered and along with teachers took him to nearby health centre and since Sagar was serious he was referred to District Hospital and there he succumbed to injuries.
