Officials should implement flagship schemes of the state govt: Jaisingh

Raipur, Jul 06: State Minister of Revenue, Disaster Management and Commercial (Registration and Stamp) of Chhattisgarh Government and Minister in-charge of the district, Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal, in a review meeting of the officers organized in the meeting hall of Janjgir-Champa district collector’s office, has directed the district level departmental officers to interact with each other. Work for the development of the district in coordination. He also directed the officers to implement important schemes of the state government including education, health and transportation.
Agrawal said that Janjgir-Champa district is full of natural resources. CSR item and DMF item will be used for development works. For this, he directed Collector Jitendra Kumar Shukla and departmental officers to prepare an action plan. He directed to plant more and more trees here as the plain area is more in the district.
Agrawal asked the officials of the Health Department to make every effort to improve the health facilities in the district. He said that whatever shortcomings were felt during the first and second wave of covid, effective action should be taken to remove those shortcomings.
He said that according to the intention of the state government, work is being done with the goal of 100% vaccination. Inspire and get vaccinated such eligible beneficiaries who are not getting the covid vaccine due to any confusion or fear. Agrawal said that a meeting would be held with senior railway officials to complete the work of two railway over bridges at Khoksa and Champa on priority this year. Efforts are also being made by the Collector for this. He asked the departmental officers to ensure that all the approved development works are completed on time. The progress of these works will be thoroughly reviewed in the next review meeting. Agrawal said that as per the intention of the State Government, there is a need to act responsibly to take the benefits of public welfare schemes to the door-to-door reach of the villages and urban areas so that all the eligible beneficiaries can get the benefits of the schemes. He said that a joint effort should be made for this. Agrawal said that an action plan has been prepared to improve education and health facilities. Adequate resources are being arranged for this. In the meeting, he told the need to do the works of education, health and transportation in a time bound manner with priority.In today’s meeting, Collector Jitendra Kumar Shukla expressed commitment on behalf of the district administration to execute maximum works of public interest in the district by following the instructions given by the in-charge Minister Mr. Agrawal and effectively implementing the important flagship schemes of the Chief Minister. He thanked the Minister-in-charge for the important guidance given to the departmental officers regarding the works in today’s meeting. The Collector said that the work of Champa and Khoksa ROB would be completed by November 2021. Chandrapur MLA Ram Kumar Yadav, District Panchayat President Mrs. Yanita Yashwant Chandra, Vice President Raghavendra Pratap Singh, Former MLA Motilal Devangan, Chunilal Sahu, Dinesh Sharma, Additional Collector Smt. Leena Kosam, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat District level officers of various departments including Gajendra Singh Thakur, ASP Shri Sanjay Mahadeva were present.
