NSS Volunteers of St Thomas College Bhilai visited Nayandeep School

Bhilai, Oct 07: Today on 2nd October 2021 on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti NSS Volunteers of St. Thomas College Bhilai visited Nayandeep School at Civic Centre. It is worth mentioning that from the year 2010 onwards Nayandeep School is providing free education to Blind Children. First of all the students of Nayandeep School and NSS Volunteers of St. Thomas College Bhilai gave introduction to each other about themselves. Today all the volunteers served lunch all the students of blind school by their own hand. After lunch a competition of Antakshari was organized between school children and NSS volunteers in which students of Nayandeep School won the game. On occasion of this interesting winning NSS volunteers distributed chocolates to all the students as a token of love and memory. In this program 15 NSS volunteers of St. Thomas College were present. On this occasion NSS Program Officer Mahendra Ikhar, Convenor and Assistant Professor of Education Department Mr. Majju Joy and Sports Officer Mr. Kailash Narayan Verma were present.
