Notarized application is not necessary for registration: Collector

Raipur, Jul 11: Collector Raipur Saurabh Kumar has directed all the sub-divisional officers of the district, the officers of the Revenue and Agriculture Department that farmers should not face any kind of problem for registration in the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. He has said that no provision has been made by the state government for any notarized application for the registration of farmers under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. He has said that all the officers should ensure that the application provided by the farmer and self-attested and verified by the Agricultural Extension Officer is sufficient for the registration of the farmers. No notarized application is to be taken from farmers for registration. It is noteworthy that under the scheme, the registration of joint account holders will be done in the name of registered farmer. For this, the concerned farmers will have to submit the consent-cum-affidavit of all the account holders and other necessary records along with the application form. The input assistance amount will be transferred to the account of the registered farmer and the input assistance amount will be divided among the farmers with mutual consent. The Collector has said that apart from the documents required for registration in the scheme, no documents should be demanded from the farmers.
