Raipur, Sep 20:
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today said that no student should face difficulty in study due to Coronavirus pandemic. Issuing letters in this regard to all district collectors and district education officers the school education department said that some news websites were reporting about several students leaving private schools due to various reasons during Coronavirus pandemic. Director in Directorate of Public Instructions has told all district collectors and district education officers to make sure that students continue their study without any disturbance. They have been asked to obtain lists of students who were studying in private schools till last year but left the schools after seeking admission.
The lists should comprise names of students and their parents, their addresses and mobile numbers. Such students and their parents should be approached and motivated to seek admission in the nearby government schools. During their admission in Class 1 to 10 they should not be asked to produce TC or mark sheet of previous class. They should be admitted according to their age.
Similarly, for the admission in class 11th, the marks obtained by the students in Class 10th should be verified in concerned education boards with the help of their roll numbers. For admission in class 12th also, the roll numbers of the students should be obtained to verify marks obtained by them in Class 10th board examinations. TC for admission in class 11th and 12th should not be demanded. It has been instructed to complete this work in the next fifteen days and inform the directorate.
