Raipur, Oct 02: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that Dongargarh is the city of Maa Bamleshwari and is the identity of all Chhattisgarhis. With the grace of Mata Rani, there will be no shortage of fund in the development of this area. On the demand of the people of Dongargarh assembly constituency, the Chief Minister announced that Ghumka would be made a tehsil. He assured to build necessary infrastructure for education, health, tourism, sports facilities in the Dongargarh area. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was discussing with the people’s representatives of Dongargarh assembly constituency, office bearers of various organizations and heads of society, who came under the leadership of MLA of Dongargarh Bhubaneshwar Baghel and President of District Co-operative Central Bank, Nawaz Khan at his residence office this evening. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that it is the endeavor of our government that people from all sections of the society should get an opportunity to progress. Increase in the income of every family and individual. There was a change in the standard of living of the people. He said that this effort of the government in the last three and a half years has been successful. Every section of the society, every family is getting benefited by some or the other scheme of the government. Referring to loan waiver of farmers, waiver of irrigation tax, purchase of paddy on support price to Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, universal PDS, collection of minor forest produce and tendupatta, Godhan Nyay Yojana and loan waiver of women’s groups, he said that every family has got it its benefits in some form or the other. On this occasion, he mentioned about the establishment of medical colleges in Kanker, Mahasamund and Korba and acquisition of Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Medical College located in Bhilai to improve the medical education in the state and said that to improve the medical facilities in the state and provide medical facilities to the doctors. Initiatives have been taken to ensure availability. He appealed to the people to take maximum advantage of Dai-Didi Clinic, Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme and Mobile Medical Unit facility. Referring to the Swami Atmanand English Medium School of Excellence, started to provide education through English medium to the talented children of the lower and middle class of the society, he said that today there is a competition for admission in these government schools. The Chief Minister said that if the children of village and countryside also speak fluent English like the children of big cities, then we will all be proud. In the delegation from Dongargarh, Bhagwat Verma, a resident of Padumtara village also came with his family. Bhagwat Verma recently met MP Rahul Gandhi during Maa Vaishnodevi visit and informed Rahul about the working of Chhattisgarh Government and the benefits of public friendly schemes launched by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Bhagwat Verma also narrated a detailed account of his meeting with Rahul Gandhi on the occasion and also presented prasad of Maa Vaishnodevi to the Chief Minister. Dongargarh MLA Bhuvneshwar Baghel, District Cooperative Sahakari Bank President, Nawaz Khan along with other public representatives and office bearers of various organizations also expressed their views.
He said that when the common people praise the success of the schemes of the Chhattisgarh government, then there is happiness. MLA Baghel appreciated the decision of waiving loans of women self-help groups, compassionate appointment.
