No need for lock down, night curfew, Containment Zone may be considered

Raipur, Nov 24: After the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Ministers, State Health Minister TS Singhdeo while speaking to the media has also reiterated Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s stand that the corona infection in the state is under control. The state does not require lock down or night curfew. Few districts are getting more cases in the state. Collectors can be empowered to deal with this situation, he added.
Health Minister Singhdeo said that in the meeting corona vaccine were demanded for the state. After the introduction of the vaccine, the idea is to first provide the vaccine to the people in the age group of 50 to 70 and Corona front line workers. Health Minister Singhdeo has said that in the areas where more patients are being identified, a container zone can be considered. As of now more cases have been reported in Mainpat.
Similarly, more cases of Corona are coming in some districts including Raipur. To control such situation, the collectors of the respective districts can be empowered to take decisions as before.
It is notable that Prime Minister Narendra Modi held discussions with Chief Ministers of other states on Tuesday morning. The meeting reviewed the measures to prevent corona infection in various states. Preparations and action plans for the introduction of vaccine in the near future were discussed. In the meeting, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has also clearly stated that corona infection is in control in the state. The new cases of Corona have declined since October.
