Raipur, Oct 12: Minister for agriculture Ravindra Choubey met party office bearers, party workers and general public in the ‘meet the minister’ programme at PCC Ho in Rajiv Bhavan here on Tuesday.
After the meeting speaking to media persons, Choubey said that he has full faith on CM Bhupesh Baghel of Congress and if anyone wants to come an give application in Rajiv Bhavan, they are all most welcome. So far Choubey informed that around 55-60 applications have been received and few are still left and he would meet all. The applications are basically related to problems related to ration and in few districts it is about ration cards.
Apart from this Choubey informed that he received applications related to opening of Paddy Purchase Centres (PPCs) as he is heading the Agriculture portfolio and from few places there is application for opening of new societies and few related to rehabilitation.
In addition to this he received applications related to mutation and from others about displacement. All the more, since this type of sitting in Rajiv Bhavan is being held after long time, there are also applications related to employment from the educated unemployed youth.
Most important of all the applications which he received from Raipur city is that of shifting of bus stand from Old Bus Stand to New Bus Stand. Here the shopkeepers at the Old Bus Stand were to be identified and raised demand for proper rehabilitation. But outside on the main road of the Bus Stand area there are road-side vendors, about whom no final decision has been taken related to rehabilitation or displacement and among such applications their applications too have been received.
Commenting on this, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey said that he would hold talks with the Collector and the Municipal Commissioner and would ensure that there is no injustice will be done to such poor people and they should also be properly rehabilitated and get opportunity to continue to do their day-to-day work and means of livelihood.
All types of applications have been received in the ‘meet to the Minister’ programme held at Rajiv Bhavan and it is as per instructions from PCC that he has started this programme. Roaster will be formed and other Ministers too be come to Rajiv Bhavan and meet the party workers and general public about their grievances and try to find out amicable solutions to it, Choubey added.
