Marwarhi, Oct 29:
Launching three –day intensive campaigning for Marwahi Vidhan Sabha by-poll, CM Bhupesh Baghel coming down heavily against former BJP CM and questioned as to why the erstwhile government enjoying reins of power for 15 years in the state failed to take up development works in remote area of Marwahi and added that today many from BJP are seeking vote wandering door-to-door.
CM further said that in last 15 years there was no development work in Marwahi VS area, but immediately after taking over by Congress government in last two years, development works to the tune of Rs 500 crore have been started.
Baghel said that on coming to power the party fulfilled its promise and made declaration of forming Gourela, Pendra, Marwahi as a new District. CM further said that Marwahi will bemade as No. 1 District in the state.
In this party’s election meeting, large number of people from Marwahi and other nearby villages were present. On this occasion Revenue Minister and in-Charge of District Jaisingh Agrawal, PCC President Mohan Markam, LS MP Korba Jyotsna Mahant, and other senior Congress leader and local party workers were present in large number.
