Netrotsav celebrated in Shri Jagannath Temple Sector-4

Bhilai, Jul 09: This year also the Jagannath Samiti is celebrating the Rath Yatra festival with full rituals at Sector-04. It is the 52nd year of celebration and on Friday, the ritual of Netrotsav was performed in the temple as per the tradition. After long illness the ritual of Dev Snana Purnima was performed and the temple doors have now been opened.
After the traditional worship of Netrotsav, Havan-Poojan, the doors of the temple were opened with Mangal sound and bell. The Mahaprabhu on Friday appeared to the devotees in a Nav-Yovan Roop. Necessary worship & Havan-Poojan for the Netrotsav was performed by Virendra Satpathy, President of the Jagannath Samiti. This religious worship of Netrotsav was performed by the priest Pitwas Padhi and Pandit Nilachal Das.
In making this holy festival of Netrotsav, a success, Jagannath Samiti President Virendra Satpathy, General Secretary Satyawan Nayak, Brindavan Swain, BC Biswal, Bhim Swain, Basant Pradhan, along with the office bearers of the committee, Sarvshree Anam Nahak, D Trinath, Kalu Behera, Trinath Sahu, Niranjan Maharana, SC Patro, Kailash Patro, Santosh Dalai, Prakash Swain, Ranjan Mohapatra, Ramesh Kumar Nayak, Seemanchal Behera, Sudarshan Shanti, Shankar Dalai, Prakash Das made special contributions. On July 12, Rath Yatra will be taken out in the premises keeping in mind the Corona protocol. The event will be restricted to the priests and their associates.
