Naxal victims praise Chh’garh Govt’s efforts

A delegation of 70 Naxal victims from Chhattisgarh’s Bastar region met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, sharing their ordeal and seeking justice and rehabilitation.
Led by the Bastar Peace Committee, the group included individuals who lost family members, limbs, or were disabled due to Naxal violence.
Shah listened attentively and assured support, praising their courage and recognizing the Chhattisgarh government’s sensitive approach.
The victims appreciated Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s efforts in prioritizing development and security in affected areas.
The delegation will also meet President Droupadi Murmu on September 21, submitting a memorandum demanding enhanced security, accelerated development, and rehabilitation.
This meeting has instilled hope among Naxal victims for national recognition of their struggles and government support for their rehabilitation.
