Navratri and World Mental Health Day celebration

Bacheli, Oct 10:
DAV Public School Bacheli organised “The Navratri” celebration along with “The World Mental Health Day” on 10th 0ctober, 2021. The celebrations started from 7th October, 2021 by offering prayers and chanting mantras for the welfare of the world by invoking divine powers. And through cultural programmes, the theatrical adaptation of how Navratri is celebrated in different states of India was presented by the blooming buds of DAVPS, Bacheli. The glimpses were the Garba of Gujarat, Sindoor Khela of Bengal and Jawonra Visarjan of Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, a thought provoking session on The World Mental Health Day was taken by Dr. A. K Pandey (Apollo Hospital) which had a positive effect on mental health.
Addressing the school family, the Principal- Dr Chetna Sharma, told the relevance of Navratri and why it is celebrated. She added that, it is a mark of victory over the evil. She wished everyone a very happy Navratri and the need for mental health.
