Dongargarh, Apr 29: Even after door-to-door collection charges under Mission Clean City project, there are many people who are not paying user charges. It is by identifying such defaulters, Nagar Palika’s team reached on Saturday to recover the outstanding amount at their residence. It was under leadership of CMO Subhash Dixit, Mission Clean City in-Cahrge Nitin Bakshi, Akil Khan, Pramod Shukla, Chandrashekhar Borkar and other ‘Mahila safai’ defaulters. The team recovered Rs 13000 from 30 big defaulters on the first day.
The in-charge Mission Clean City Nitin Bakshi informed that the door-to-door collection is city is being made for a long time and there are many users who are not making the payment. So the Palika by preparing list of such users, conducted raid at their residence last on Saturday. It is notable that to recover user charges, ‘Safai Mitra’ reaches at the residence of the people every month, but they are not made payment by few. So in order to act strict against such big defaulters, Nagar Palika CHMO formed a team and which conducted raid on the residence of such big defaulters. It is notable that there are 8831 families in city and where daily ‘Maila safai Mitra’ collects waste and garbage door-to-door. Set aside this there are 1065 commercial complexes. CMO said that after recovery of user charges from defaulters, a special cleanliness team of Nagar Palika will move out in the city and in case if any waste or non-cleanliness is found in the complex then strict action will be taken.
NoC for programme compulsory
For any programme of more than 100 persons, Mission Clean City in-Charge Nitin Bakshi said taht they will have to take NoC from Nagar Palika before holding this programme. This system will be applicable from May onwards and for this certain amount of fees will be fixed, so that the garbage spread by concerned party can be lifted on time.
