My priority was to crack the exam with good marks, not top ten: Shreya Agrawal

Raipur, Jun 23:
Shreya Agrawal who came second in the top ten list of 12th board examination declared by Board of Secondary Education, Raipur on Tuesday said that my priority was to crack the exam with good marks, not to come in top ten. I never expected to be in the top ten nor in which division to pass. It was necessary for me to pass only with good marks, said Shreya Agrawal, a resident of Badaipara, Raipur, who came second in the top ten with 97 per cent in the class 12th board examination.
Shreya added that she had not fixed any scheduled time for studies, nor had fixed hours for studies. Whenever I had a mood, I used to start studying. She used to study very well and was busy preparing for further examination. Shreya said that she had gone for coaching in class 10th and 11th. Her family members have an important contribution in her studies, they never forced me to study nor have I been told what I have to do, what I want to become, so the credit for my success goes to my parents, my brother and teachers, she added.
On the other hand, Shreya Agrawal’s father Sudhir Agrawal and mother Ruby Agrawal said that we had full confidence in our daughter that whatever she does will do well. For this we neither pressurized her for anything, nor did we ask her to do domestic work. Whenever Shreya had a mind, she used to share her contribution in housework. The Agrawal couple also gave a message for those parents who force their children to study by applying pressure. Don’t put pressure on your children for studies, let the children make their own decisions. Give them proper guidance and help.
