Raipur Parliamentarian Sunil Soni has raised demand for opening of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara District.
Raising the issue in Lok Sabha, the BJP MP from Raipur further stated that the admissions in Kendriya Vidyalaya should be restricted for the students residing with 5 kms distance from the School campus.
Similarly, the Lok Sabha member from Bilaspur Arun Sao too has raised demand for the establishment of more number of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Chhattisgarh. In his reply, the Union Education Minister had stated that a land of 12 Acre in Lakhanpur in Mungeli District has been reserved for the Kendriya Vidyalaya. The construction of building would start soon.
