Mohan Markam concludes his foot-march at Dantewada

Jagdalpur, Oct 12: PCC spokesman Vikas Tiwari informed that the PCC Chief Mohan Markam concluded his four-day footmarch paying obeisance at Goddess Danteshwari Mata’s tempe at Sheetala Temple in Kondagaon, praying for peace and prosperity of all in the state.
It is notable here that PCC Chief Mohan Markam started this foot-march on Oct 8 fromo Mata Sheetala Mandir, Kondagaon and then it reached Gram Bhanpuri District Bastar. On Oct 9 it started from Gram Bhanpuri and reached Pandripani and starting from here it reached Gram Dilmili. This foot-march starting from Gram Dilmili reached Geedam District Dantewada and here it was welcomed by MLA Dantewada Devati Karmaand Chabindra Karma. During this foot-march, PCC Chief Mohan Markam and his colleagues used to take rest in the shade of tree by the road-side and during this entire journey, all the participants in this foot-march adhered to covid-19 protocol i:e wearing of mask and maintaining social distance.
PCC spokesman Vikas Tiwari further informed that during this foot-march, as per call by the AICC, one-day ‘silent protest’ was held and in this PCC Chief Mohan Markam also took part in Dantewada and conducted foot-march upto Geedam. It was leaving early in the morning from Geedam, Markam reached Maa Danteshwariji’s temple at 6:00 am and paid obeisance to Goddess Danteshwari and performed other rituals and sought blessings of peace and prosperity of all in the state.
On this occasion PCC State chief Mohan Markam was accompanied with MLA Dantewada Devati Karma, YC President Purnachandra Padhi, Bastar DCC District President Balram Mourya, MLA’s rep Budhram Netam, Shishir Shrivastava, MP’s rep- Dashrath Netam and hundreds of devotees from Kondagaon and Dantewada and they all took blessings of Goddess Danteshwari in the
temple.
