Mobile Medical Units begin administering vaccines

Bhilai, Oct 22: Bhilai Municipal Commissioner Prakash Surve on Friday reached Ward 31 Durga Mandir Milavat Para to inspect the health camp being organized through Mobile Medical Unit. He discussed health benefits with the beneficiaries who came there for testing and treatment.
Taking information about the availability of medical staff and medicines, he took details on the patients and the type of disease for which they are coming for testing and treatment. From Friday, vaccination has been started in MMUs to protect against Covid 19. A separate team has been arranged near the health camp of Mobile Medical Unit for vaccination against corona virus. The Municipal Commissioner has given instructions to Nodal Officer Sunil Agrahari to make better arrangements for vaccination during the inspection. APM Bhavna Rajput was present during the inspection. On the first day of vaccination at MMU, 112 people got vaccinated safely.
On Saturday, vaccination will be done at 17 centres for Covishield and 02 centres for Covaxin. People of 18 plus and 45 plus age groups will be vaccinated with Covishield and Covaxin. The first and second doses will be administered in 17 centers earmarked for Covishield, similarly in 02 centers earmarked for Covaxin.
The centres for Covaxin will be at Ward 09 Mangal Bazar Kohka Community Building, Ward 12 Shiv Mandir Kanji House. For Covishield the centers are at Ward 02 Mangal Bhawan Smriti Nagar, Ward 05 MMU 01 Sankritik Manch Laxmi Nagar near Councilor’s office, Ward 03 Rashney Awas Ambedkar Bhavan Nehru Nagar, Ward 03 Community health Centre, behind UPHC Kosanagar, Ward 09 PHC Kohka Mangalbazar Community Building, Ward 12 Shiv Mandir Kanji House, 26 Ganesh Manch Domeshed Housing Board, Ward 15 Ganesh Manch Dussehra Maidan Shanti Nagar, Ward 22 Gurdwara Sunder Nagar Camp 01, Ward 21 UPHC Baikunthdham, Ward 25 MMU 02 near Councilor’s Office SLRM Center Santoshi Para Camp 02, Ward 28 Mangal Bazar Chhawni, Ward 29 PHC Bapunagar, Ward 33 Community Building Water Tank Pump House, Ward 53 Satvijay Auditorium Sector 05, Ward 65 Near Hanuman Mandir Street 18 Sector 07, in Ward 64 Vaccination will be done in Maa Sherawali Mandir Zonal Market Sector 10.
