Konta, Aug 16: 75th anniversary of Independence was being celebrated in the country, here Minpa, a village in Sukma district where there was no electricity in this village even 75 years after independence. But when electricity reached this village on the initiative of the administration, then the people of this village were not happy.
Minpa, a village of Sukma district, is a place where many soldiers were martyred in the Naxal police encounter in the last year 2020. Today, with the initiative of the administration, development is visible in Minpa village by approach road, electricity, water, school. On the eve of Independence Day, there was an atmosphere of happiness among the people due to the power coming in Minpa village.
This is the same village where Naxalites used to speak. This village was also called the capital of Naxalites. Today the government administration seems very serious about the development in this area, that is why today roads, electricity, water, schools are reaching the tribal villages of the inner region.
Villagers of this area say that they had never seen roads and electricity in 75 years of independence. But today due to the initiative of the administration, continuous development is seen in these areas. Due to which happiness can be seen in the faces of nearby villagers including Minpa village.
