Minister in-Charge Choubey reviews lockdown in Raipur

Raipur, Sep 24: State Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey on Thursday reviewed the lockdown situation in Raipur. He said that currently after reviewing the lockdown imposed for seven days, we will take a decision on the proposal to re-impose lockdown in the state capital further.
In fact, on the third day of the lockdown in Raipur, the minister in-charge Choubey and the district administration took stock of the situation after visiting various parts of the city. The minister took information about administrative arrangements and people’s cooperation in effectively enforcing lockdown. On the occasion Mr Choubey appreciated the works of the police employees and administrative arrangements made. He said there is no need to panic or entertain fear over the increase in the number of positive cases in the city as the government had made all arrangements to offer proper treatment to all the needy.
Minister Ravindra Choubey said that he has visited viewing the increasing Corona infection in Raipur. The decision to lockdown has been taken in the capital Raipur and the entire district. To take stock of this, Parliamentary Secretary Vikas Upadhyay, Chairman of Housing Board and MLA Kuldeep Juneja on Thursday visited various parts of the city with all the officials of the district administration. Mr Choubey congratulated the officials of district administration for ensuring better arrangements during lockdown situation.
