Members cover mouth with black ribbon in protest against irregularities

Bhilai, Oct 02: On Friday, members of Bhilai MGO Cathedral covered their mouth with black ribbon and staged silent protest in front of the gate of Office / Residence of Manager Bishop of in Kailash Nagar. They are alleging financial irregularities and violation of by-laws in the MGM School and Church.
Holding placards in their hands, they demanded to stop illegal construction at school, follow the Church and School By-laws and Constitution, conduct election of the church and school, stop fund transfer to other organisations, remove the illegal correspondent and ineligible principal and immediately remove the corrupt persons from the organisation. They alleged that the office bearers of the MGM School as well as the Church are committing administrative and financial irregularities as well as are working in violation with the by-laws of the organisation. The last election of the executive committee was held in April 2014 and the tenure was over long back. The committee is violating the norms by continuing even after completion of its tenure and moreover they are not willing to conduct fresh election. Monsey John, Mathai Varghese, Jubu John and other members were present.
