Meeting held to review preparations

Bilaspur, Nov 29: A meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor, Professor Alok Kumar Chakrawal regarding the preparations for the ninth convocation In Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (Central University). The Registrar-in-Charge, Suraj Kumar Meher was present in the meeting held in the meeting room of the Administrative Building on November 29, 2021.
Presiding over the meeting, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Professor Alok Kumar Chakrawal said that it is my experience that all of you have immense potential for excellence. If we harness the total capabilities with full determination, then we can illuminate the entire nation. Through organization we can achieve goals with ease, and convinence. Better results can be obtained by doing analysis and evaluation after editing the works. Our university has been named after the ascetic saint Guru Ghasidas ji whose entire work, personality and conduct inspire us. Being the only Central University of Chhattisgarh State, we have a social responsibility to perform better in academic and all other fields. The review meeting was conducted by the convener of the ninth convocation, Prof. Manish Srivastava, Officer on Special Duty, Development Section. On this occasion, the meeting held by the coordinators of the eighteen committees constituted for the smooth carrying out of the preparations and the requirements were discussed in detail. About 250 students of the academic session 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 will be awarded gold medals and degrees.
During the ninth convocation, the guidelines and other rules issued from time to time by various ministries of the Government of India, State Government and local administration related to the safety and protection of Kovid-19 were also discussed in detail.
