Bhilai, Nov 06: Mayor Devendra Yadav performed bhoomi pujan for the construction of a dome shed in the premises of SNG School, Sector-04, ward no 51. The rituals were performed in the presence of Tulsi Sahu, local councilor Rajesh Chaudhary, members of school management and local citizens. The construction of this dome shed in the school premises would prove to be a big facility for the students to organise various activities curricular activities. Here it needs a mention that the Bhilai Mayor has approved Rs 10 lakh from the MLA fund for the purpose. Expressing happiness at the development work, school management extended gratitude to the Mayor and the Corporation administration. Devendra in his brief address said that the demand for a dome shed was made by the management when he was on a visit to the school. Agreeing to it, approval was given to the same for which bhoomi pujan was being performed. Once the construction is complete, no programme in the school will be interrupted.
After performing Bhoomi Pujan, the Mayor instructed the Assistant Engineer Kuldeep Gupta who was present to start the dome shed construction work at the earliest. Domeshed being constructed inside the school at a cost of 10 lakhs will facilitate the students to conduct prayers and various events during the rainy and summer days. Thereafter, the Mayor inspected the school premises. The school management apprised the Mayor about the facilities, lab, library and classroom available for the students. During the Bhoomi pujan, the school principal Komal Bedi, EV Ranjan, PR Santosh, C Biju, KS Chandran, corporation’s deputy engineer Shweta Maheshwar and senior citizens of the area and other officers / employees of the corporation were present.
