Raipur, Mar 07: A shop owner of Raipura Chowk has reportedly been duped of Rs 3.10 lakh by frauds who lured him into installing a mobile phone tower atop is shop for lucrative monthly rentals. A complaint in this regard was lodged in DD Nagar police station on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, complainant Vinod Kumar Agrawal of Jainam Vihar near MMI Hospital is owner a shop situated at Raipura Chowk. On May 25, 2019, Agrawal received a message about installing Airtel Company’s mobile phone tower atop his shop at a lucrative monthly rental. It was also assured that the earnings will start right from the day the tower installation work is completed.
Not understanding that he is falling into fraud trap, Agrawal agreed to fulfill all the formalities for installing the mobile phone tower atop his shop.
